2008 Booke Seminars

Booke has provided seminars since 1968 that address insurance company accounting and reporting, including separate two and one half day seminars on the federal taxation of life and property and casualty insurance companies.

Participants in both seminars develop an understanding of the theory and structure of federal income taxation of insurance companies, acquire the knowledge and skills needed to complete or review the Form 1120-L or 1120-PC, and understand the impact of taxation on financial reporting including tax provisions, statutory nonadmitted amounts and note disclosures.

The following tax seminars are scheduled for 2008. Go to Booke’s website at www.bookeseminars.com to register, to read the course descriptions and to see other insurance accounting seminar topics offered by Booke. For additional information, contact Booke Seminars by phone at (336) 728-2929.
